The MT-5 is a perfect entry level trail runner which returns in a new package from the ground up. The platform gets a total redesign for a fresh ride. Here's the nitty gritty - Topo Athletic updated the stack height to 28 x 23 mm for increased cushioning and bumped the drop to 5 mm. Topo Athletic added their ZipFoam midsole for a soft step in feel with increased response. The refined Vibram XS Trek EVO outsole provides excellent multi-surface traction and durability, catered specifically to light to moderate trails.
