Wolverine Footwear traces its origins to 1883, when G.A. Krause opened a small leather tannery in Michigan. More than a century later, Wolverine continues to make boots for demanding work environments and outdoor activities.
The brand became known in part for the original 1000 Mile boot, crafted from shell horsehide and named for the distance it was designed to withstand.
The current lineup combines work and outdoor footwear with features suited to different uses, from Floorhand waterproof work boots to Raider DuraShocks styles built with cushioned, flexible outsoles. Wolverine hiking footwear includes models with rugged leather uppers, moisture-wicking linings, and shock-absorbing midsoles for long days outdoors.
DuraShocks technology is available in selected Wolverine models and is designed to provide cushioning and energy return. Run United offers a selection of men's work boots, including steel-toe and CarbonMax models with different designs and features.
