RunUnited to host Fun, Fitness and Fundraising on North Texas Giving Day

RunUnited has partnered with Noggin Educational Foundation for a day of Fun, Fitness and a Fundraising for North Texas Giving Day. The run specialty store is providing matching funds up to $1000.00 on September 22nd, when customers make a donation at the store. North Texas Giving Day is a fundraising extravaganza where individuals and businesses can give with purpose to non-profit organizations in North Texas.

“We’ve partnered with Noggin on other projects, so it was an easy decision to make Noogin our charity partner,” says Scymentress Williams, RunUnited’s General Manager. In addition, we’ve partnered with several fitness instructors to offer short fitness classes from 11:00am-7:00pm. The community can stop by and join a fitness class before or after they shop and make a donation. There will be cardio, yoga, zumba and even classes for the kids.

Noggin Educational Foundation provides free educational resources and services to students from low-income families. “We use the donations generated from this fundraiser to provide free tutoring and Special Education advocacy to low-income students,” says Noggin’s Founder and CEO Doneda Bailey. “This North Texas Giving Day our goal is to raise $75,000 and fund over 100 students.”

RunUnited is Mansfield’s first running store. The store is located at 650 Highway 287 N., Suite 110, Mansfield. RunUnited specializes in customized shoe fittings for runners and endurance athletes. The store is committed to supporting the community through its business activities and promoting a healthy lifestyle by hosting endurance events and partnering with charitable organizations and businesses.
